The purpose of the project management structure is to ensure the proper level of co-ordination and co-operation amongst the project consortium members.
Furthermore, it has to ensure effective project administration, project organisation, management of the technical progress of the project and co-ordination with other EU-funded projects, as well as with other interested parties.

The overall Hurricane management structure is given in the following figure:
